Born in Croatia and raised in Serbia, Bojan began training in Karate when he was 8 and attained a Black Belt in Shotokan Karate 2nd Dan and a Black Belt in Kyokushinkai Karate 1st Dan at an early age. He placed 3rd in the Serbian national championships and went on to compete in more than 42 professional fights.
His career began at the Sports Academy in Belgrade, Serbia, where he honed the skills and techniques that lead to his specialization in Kick Boxing, Boxing, Kyokushinkai Karate, Shotokan Karate, Conditioning, Strength and Endurance Training.
He has traveled the world and trained in various countries which gives him a keen insight in different methods and disciplines. He served in the Serbian Army and was in combat for 3 wars.
Bojan is often referred to as the Serbian bear and a gentle giant by members and those who train with him at South Beach Boxing.
