I was always athletic but never did any kind of contact sport. My thing was track and dance. My father introduced me to boxing and kickboxing but I didn’t like the kicking part too much.
My dad and I started doing boxing together the last summer I spent with him and we bonded over that.
I started coming right after my father passed away for more of a therapeutic thing trying to relieve stress because it was a tough time for me. I tried classes all around the Miami and once I found this one it just clicked…home away from home. I love Jolie, the trainers, the staff and the members. They made me feel so welcomed from the moment I walked in.
When I first came I was fit but not in shape. I had no stamina or anything and not toned at all.It took me a few months to see serious results. I feel amazing now more confident strong mentally and physically. When I come in I’m at peace. I leave my problems at the door. Boxing makes you focus and be in the moment with no distractions. It’s been 4 years and love every day of my life.
It’s ok to be a beginner because everyone is at different levels here and the trainers and the members make sure you get attention. Not only do you get physical results, you get healthy mentally. Boxing is a safe place to release and let out everything from within.
