Alejandro Sulser – South Beach Boxing – Monthly Spotlight Winner 😊
Before South Beach Boxing I was just doing the gym. I was super out of shape, and had high body fat, and I knew I wanted something more intense. I wanted to get more results, and I liked boxing. Thanks to Google, I searched “boxing gyms near me” and found South Beach Boxing. I went in and got a tour by Simone and scheduled a 1st free class. I took boxing with Romeo and I was sold.
I initially signed up for the 8 classes a month, limited option, as I had a nice gym in my building, and I lived 25-30 minutes away, so I was good to come 2x a week. Well, I was missing for a bit at the gym, traveling a lot, and I received a text from the gym, asking “Where have you been?” and I was so impressed. I knew I could create a substantial change, as I had true accountability from the team at South Beach Boxing – like nothing I’ve ever experienced before and I wanted to dive in and take full advantage of this opportunity to change my body, and change my life.
I ended up moving a bit closer, still 15-20 minutes away, yet I switched, and upgraded my membership to unlimited classes. That was the game changer. I initially committed to a minimum of 4 days a week. I always met my goal and it was easy as I loved coming to South Beach Boxing. I would always walk in the gym, drop my phone, and train hard, and never even look at my phone the entire time. I was always immersed in the amazing surroundings of this place. Often I’d take two classes, and what’s so amazing is how I was barely able to get through one class in the beginning, but after being consistent, and giving it my all, and I was consistently and always being pushed by the trainers, and their insane, never the same workouts, I was able to do more and more and I got stronger and stronger.
Then another game changer was when I began sparring on a regular basis. Then I allowed the sport of boxing to AFFECT my life in many ways. I learned so much, about boxing, and about myself. I learned to never underestimated the little guys, or in fact, anyone. AND how I needed to take my training to an even greater level to be able to handle the stamina required for sparring, and never giving up, and standing in and fighting ‘til the final red bell rings – and not breaking just because I was tired and thought I couldn’t continue. Then I began coming 5x a week, and sometimes I’d stay for many hours, just working my craft, and knowing my focus and hard work was translating into my work life and personal life. I’ve truly changed in so many ways. I value my workouts, and coming here daily, and I don’t go out much at night anymore, as I want to feel great in the mornings, and go box and train.
South Beach Boxing is for sure a gym like NO OTHER I for sure have ever been or seen. I even brought my sister in from out of town, and she trains at a Title Boxing gym, and she felt the substantial , world of difference in the quality, and in everything , immediately, even upon entering then gym, and then the classes she took, she/I can’t wait for her to get to do some more.
To anyone who has never been to South Beach Boxing, I HIGHLY recommend it. It’s a random, weird/amazing, cool combination – all one space. Real, professional boxers and pro-athletes in one area, and awesome members from all over the world in another area. It’s a different kind of gym, than any other, in so many ways. The energy is amazing and the mix of people that create the amazing vibe is just truly unlike any other. The service and the team are all amazing, each one of them with awesome stories and backgrounds as well. People come to REALLY workout – unlike other gyms – like Equinox – they’re not REALLY working out. Nobody in the entire place is ever slacking. A place where you drop your phone and immerse in the amazing environment of everyone pushing you harder everyday – both the trainers and the members alike. There’s just no place like it. THANK YOU FOR EXISITING – SOUTH BEACH BOXING
