Muay Thai is kickboxing with elbows & knees incorporated. It deals with distance & range & is WAY more practical & useful than just being able to use your kicks & punches as in just kickboxing. You will be kicking heavy bags – so if you’ve never kicked a heavy bag before – then we recommend you taking the boxing 1st. You have cushions on your fists for punching yet none on your shins while kicking. You do get used to it – just try the boxing 1st if you’ve never kicked heavy bags. This is great for women & men of all ages & teaches LOTS OF SELF DEFENSE. The Muay Thai Techniques / MMA class is a contact class & it teaches techniques & drills & skills & people spar. This is great to take your skills / knowledge in Muay Thai / MMA to another level.
You must have a mouthpiece, shin guards & headgear, all of which we sell at the gym.
